Kerala NEET PG 2025 Counselling: Dates to be Announced Soon; CEE Issues Document List, Rs 50 Lakh Bond Policy

    Kerala

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, is set to begin the NEET PG 2025 counselling process soon. Ahead of the official schedule announcement, CEE has released the list of mandatory documents that candidates must present at the time of admission, along with a reminder about the compulsory service bond policy applicable to postgraduate medical students in the state.

    Key Highlights

    • Counselling dates: To be announced shortly by CEE Kerala.

    • Bond policy: Candidates admitted to government medical colleges will be required to sign a Rs 50 lakh bond, committing them to compulsory service in Kerala for a specified duration after completion of the course.

    • Document verification: CEE has published the list of required certificates that must be submitted during admission and counselling.

    Required Documents for Counselling

According to the notification, candidates must carry the following documents (in original, along with self-attested copies):

    • NEET PG 2025 Admit Card and Rank Letter

    • MBBS Degree Certificate and Provisional Pass Certificate

    • MBBS Mark Sheets (All years)

The Rs 50 Lakh Bond Policy

As per the Kerala government’s policy, candidates admitted to postgraduate medical seats in government medical colleges must execute a bond worth Rs 50 lakh. This bond mandates that doctors serve the state health department for a fixed period (typically one year) after completing their PG studies. Failure to comply will require candidates to pay the bond amount.

Officials have clarified that this policy is aimed at addressing the shortage of specialist doctors in rural and underserved areas.

    Counselling Procedure

CEE will publish the detailed counselling schedule soon, which will include:

    1. Online registration of candidates.

    2. Option entry for courses and colleges.

    3. Seat allotment list publication based on NEET PG 2025 rank and reservation policies.

    4. Document verification & admission at the allotted colleges.

    What Candidates Should Do Now

    • Keep all documents ready as per the official checklist.

    • Review the bond conditions carefully before accepting a government seat.

    • Track the official CEE Kerala website for the counselling dates and allotment details.

    Expert Take

Medical education experts note that Kerala has consistently implemented strict bond policies to ensure availability of specialists in government hospitals. While some students view the bond amount as a heavy financial burden, healthcare administrators argue that it is necessary to retain doctors in the public sector.

With counselling dates expected any time soon, thousands of NEET PG 2025 aspirants in Kerala are eagerly waiting for the official schedule to plan their admissions.
