The Rajasthan Medical Education Department has announced that the Round 2 registration for NEET UG 2025 counselling will begin tomorrow. The process will enable eligible candidates to apply for MBBS and BDS seats in government, private, and deemed medical colleges across the state.

Key Details of Round 2 Registration

• Registration Opens: September 6, 2025

• Mode: Online through the official counselling portal

• Eligibility:

  • Candidates who did not register in Round 1.

  • Students who were not allotted a seat in Round 1.

  • Those who wish to upgrade from their Round 1 allotment.

  • Candidates who reported but did not lock their choices earlier.

Counselling Schedule Highlights

• September 6–8, 2025: Online registration, fee payment, and choice-filling.

• September 10, 2025: Declaration of Round 2 seat allotment result.

• September 11–15, 2025: Reporting at allotted colleges and document verification.

• September 17, 2025: Display of vacant seat matrix for Mop-Up Round (if needed).

Documents Required During Reporting

Students must carry:

• NEET UG 2025 admit card and scorecard

• Class 10 & 12 mark sheets and certificates

• Domicile certificate (Rajasthan candidates)

• Category/EWS/PwD certificate (if applicable)

• Seat allotment letter and admission fee receipt

Seat Availability

Round 2 will include:

• Vacant MBBS/BDS seats from Round 1.

• Seats surrendered or unreported by candidates.

• Reserved category seats as per Rajasthan state quota rules.

Advisory for Students

Officials have advised students to carefully prioritize their choices during the choice-filling process, as locked preferences cannot be changed later. They also warned candidates to rely only on the official portal for updates and avoid unauthorized agents.

What’s Next?

After Round 2, the counselling authority will conduct a Mop-Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round for any remaining seats, ensuring that the entire medical and dental admission process concludes on time.
