NEET UG 2025 Round 2 Allotment Result Remains Unchanged, Clarifies MCC

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a clarification regarding the NEET UG 2025 round 2 seat allotment results, putting an end to confusion among students and parents. According to the official statement, the round 2 allotment list remains unchanged, and no modifications or re-allotments have been made after its declaration.
The clarification comes after several reports and social media discussions claimed that the MCC might revise or update the round 2 allotment due to technical issues and grievances raised by candidates. This led to uncertainty among aspirants, many of whom were awaiting confirmation from colleges before paying fees and completing admission formalities.
MCC’s Official Stand
MCC categorically stated that:
The round 2 final allotment result is valid and unchanged.
Candidates allotted seats in round 2 must report to their respective colleges within the given timeline.
Any unverified rumors or unofficial notices circulating online should be ignored.
The committee further emphasized that all admissions will be carried out strictly as per the published result and the counselling schedule will proceed without delay.
Next Steps for Candidates
Students allotted seats in round 2 are required to:
Download the allotment letter from the MCC portal.
Report to the allotted college with original documents.
Complete the admission formalities and pay the fees within the stipulated time.
Those who wish to exit or upgrade to further rounds are advised to follow the official guidelines carefully.
Why the Confusion Arose
According to sources, the confusion stemmed from technical glitches during the reporting phase and scattered claims by candidates regarding discrepancies. However, MCC has assured that the entire process remains transparent and aligned with NMC guidelines.
Seat Matrix Update
With the completion of round 2, thousands of students across India have already secured MBBS and BDS seats under the All India Quota (AIQ). Remaining vacancies, if any, will be carried forward to the mop-up round, the details of which will be announced soon.
The MCC has advised candidates to rely only on official updates published on its website and avoid misinformation spread through unofficial sources.
