The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has officially commenced Round 2 of the NEET UG 2025 counselling process for state quota MBBS/BDS admissions. Eligible candidates who either did not secure a seat in Round 1 or missed the first window can now register and complete their application online at the official WBMCC portal.

What Candidates Need to Know

• Online Application: Candidates must submit their NEET UG Round 2 counselling form and pay the requisite fees within the registration window (Sept 2–11).

• Document Verification: Once applied, candidates must complete document verification by September 12 to be eligible for further steps.

• Seat Matrix and Merit Lists: On September 15, WBMCC will release the updated seat matrix and the list of verified candidates. This will enable informed decision-making during the choice-filling phase.

• Choice Filling & Locking: Candidates must finalize and lock their college/course preferences between September 15 and 17.

• Seat Allotment & Admission: Results will be declared on September 22. Successful candidates must report to their allotted colleges between September 23 and 25 for admission formalities and re-verification if upgraded.

This structured approach ensures transparency and allows candidates, including those who previously missed or were unsuccessful in Round 1, a fresh opportunity to secure a seat in their desired medical or dental program.
