Telangana NEET UG 2025: MBBS Counselling Resumes; KNRUHS Seeks Parental Service Proof by September 11
The Telangana NEET UG 2025 counselling process for MBBS admissions has resumed under the supervision of Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS). The university has issued a fresh notification directing candidates to submit valid proof of parental service by September 11, 2025, as part of the eligibility verification process.
According to the official update, students applying under specific service-based categories must provide documentary evidence regarding their parent’s employment in government or allied services. This verification is crucial for confirming eligibility under local and reserved quota seats, which play a significant role in state MBBS admissions.
The resumed counselling round comes after temporary delays due to administrative clarifications. KNRUHS has advised aspirants to regularly check the university’s counselling portal for updates regarding seat allotment schedules, document verification, and reporting guidelines.
Candidates who fail to submit the required service proof by the deadline risk cancellation of their provisional candidature. The university has emphasized that no further extensions will be granted for document submission.
Meanwhile, thousands of medical aspirants in Telangana are awaiting clarity on seat allotment under state quota, NRI quota, and management quota seats across government and private medical colleges. With the September 11 deadline approaching, applicants are urged to complete all compliance requirements to ensure smooth progression in the admission process.
