NTA Flags 106 Telegram and 16 Instagram Channels for Spreading Misinformation on NEET

New Delhi, May 1, 2025 — In a significant crackdown on misinformation ahead of the NEET UG 2025 examination, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has identified 106 Telegram channels and 16 Instagram accounts allegedly involved in spreading false and misleading information related to the medical entrance exam.
According to official sources, these platforms were found sharing unauthorized exam content, promoting fake question papers, and misleading aspirants with false claims about paper leaks, answer keys, and exam strategies.

“We urge candidates to rely only on the official NTA website and communications for authentic updates. Action is being taken against those violating information integrity,” an NTA spokesperson stated.
The agency has also confirmed that it is working closely with law enforcement and social media companies to block these channels and trace the individuals responsible.
