Key Highlights:

• Strict security measures were in place, with frisking, biometric verification, and jammers to prevent cheating.

• Over 24 lakh candidates reportedly registered for the exam this year, making it one of the largest competitive exams in the country.

• Isolated protests were seen in a few states, allegedly concerning exam centre allocations and last-minute rule clarifications.

• One arrest was made in connection with suspected use of unfair means, though full details are still emerging.

• The National Testing Agency (NTA) stated that the exam was conducted “largely incident-free.”
