NID DAT MDes Mains Result 2025 Declared; Rechecking Window Open, Seat Allotment Underway
The National Institute of Design (NID) has announced the results for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) MDes Mains 2025 on May 6, 2025. Candidates can access their scorecards by logging into the official admissions portal at admissions.nid.edu using their registered email ID and date of birth.
Rechecking Facility Open Until May 7
NID has provided a rechecking window for candidates who wish to verify their results. The rechecking process is available from May 6 (4:00 PM) to May 7 (4:00 PM). It involves verifying whether all answers have been marked and ensuring no errors occurred in totaling or transferring marks in Part II of the answer booklet. The rechecking fee is ₹2,000 per discipline, payable online. Candidates must submit a scanned copy of their admit card, signed by the invigilator with the exam center’s seal, along with the request.
Seat Allotment Process Underway
The seat allotment process for the MDes 2025–26 session has commenced. Shortlisted candidates are required to pay a non-refundable token fee and upload necessary documents by May 8, 2025, 11:59 PM. Required documents include a valid photo ID, admit card, and Class 10th and 12th mark sheets.
Final Merit List Composition
The final merit list is based on combined scores from the DAT Prelims, Studio Test, and Interview, with respective weightages of 30%, 40%, and 30%. Only candidates who appeared for both stages are eligible for the merit list.
