    NEET UG 2025 physics continues to be difficult; biology easiest

    The NEET-UG 2025 examination, conducted on May 4, has been reviewed by students and experts, revealing a subject-wise variation in difficulty levels.


    🧪 Physics: Most Challenging Section

    Physics emerged as the most challenging section for many candidates. The questions demanded a strong conceptual understanding and analytical thinking. Many were formula-based but involved multiple steps, making them time-consuming. Students needed to apply concepts across multiple chapters to arrive at correct answers, which increased the overall difficulty level .


    🧬 Biology: Easiest and Most Scoring

    Biology was considered the easiest and most scoring section. The questions were predominantly NCERT-based, straightforward, and covered a broad range of topics. This section allowed students to attempt questions quickly, aiding in better time management for the overall exam .


    ⚗️ Chemistry: Moderate Difficulty

    Chemistry was rated as moderate in difficulty. The section included a balanced mix of theoretical and numerical questions, with a fair representation from organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry. While some questions were straightforward, others required careful analysis and application of concepts .


    📝 Overall Exam Experience

    • Exam Pattern: The NEET-UG 2025 followed the pre-COVID format with 180 compulsory questions: 90 from Biology, 45 from Chemistry, and 45 from 

    • Time Management: Many students followed the sequence Biology → Chemistry → Physics to optimize time, given the varying difficulty levels.

    • No Out-of-Syllabus Questions: The paper was largely NCERT-aligned, with no reported out-of-syllabus questions.

    • Exam Conduct: The examination was conducted smoothly across centers, with strict adherence to security protocols.
