The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has initiated the counselling process for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2025 B.Tech admissions. Eligible candidates can now register and fill in their choices for preferred courses and campuses through the official counselling portal: counseling.manipal.edu. The registration window for Round 1 is open from June 2 to June 7, 2025.

Key Dates and Schedule

• Registration & Choice Filling: June 2 – June 7, 2025

• Round 1 Seat Allotment: June 9, 2025 (after 8 PM IST)

• First Installment Fee Payment: June 9 – June 16, 2025

• Second Installment Fee Payment: June 20, 2025

Subsequent rounds of counselling are scheduled as follows:

• Round 2 Registration & Choice Filling: June 18 – June 19, 2025

• Round 2 Seat Allotment: June 21, 2025 (after 8 PM IST)

• Round 3 Registration & Choice Filling: June 27 – June 28, 2025

• Round 3 Seat Allotment: June 30, 2025 (after 8 PM IST)

• Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Manipal Campus

• Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT), Sikkim Campus

• Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ), Jaipur Campus

Counselling Process Overview

1. Registration: Candidates must register on the official counselling portal and pay a waitlist deposit of ₹10,000.

2. Choice Filling: After registration, candidates can fill in their preferred courses and campuses.

3. Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on MET 2025 ranks, candidate preferences, and seat availability.

4. Fee Payment: Upon seat allotment, candidates must pay the first installment of the course fee (₹2,40,000) within the specified timeline to confirm their admission.

5. Document Verification: Candidates are required to upload necessary documents for verification during the counselling process.

Important Notes

• Failure to pay the course fee within the stipulated time will result in forfeiture of the waitlist deposit and cancellation of the allotted seat.

• Candidates can modify their choices during the specified modification periods before each round of seat allotment.

• Intra-institute sliding and spot rounds will be conducted in August 2025 for candidates seeking branch upgrades or those who missed earlier rounds.
