GATE Exam 2024: Eligible candidates can fill the application form by September 29. Know documents required to apply.
As per the GATE 2024 eligibility criteria, candidates who are currently studying in the third or final year of any undergraduate degree programme or who have completed any government approved degree programme in engineering, technology, science, architecture, or humanities are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.
IISc Bangalore has divided the registration fee into two categories. The application fee for female candidates and aspirants belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) is Rs 900 while all other candidates will have to make a fee payment of Rs 1,800. Applicants will require these documents to fill the form:
- High quality image of candidate’s photograph
- High quality image of candidate’s signature
- Scanned copy of category (SC, ST) certificate in PDF format (if applicable).
- Scanned copy of PwD Certificate in PDF format (if applicable).
- Scanned copy of certificate of Dyslexia in PDF format (if applicable).
- Scanned copy of valid photo identity document: Aadhar-UID (preferable) or passport or PAN card or voter ID or driving license.
GATE 2024 will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. The test will be held in two shifts and the duration of exam will be three hours.
