The National Testing Agency (NTA) is closing the registration window for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025 today, January 13, 2025. This examination facilitates admission to Classes 6 and 9 in Sainik Schools across India. Interested candidates must complete their applications by 5:00 PM today through the official website: aissee.nta.nic.in.

Application Fee:

• General, OBC (NCL), and Wards of Defence Personnel/Ex-Servicemen: ₹800
• SC/ST Candidates: ₹650

The payment portal for the application fee will remain open until tomorrow, January 14, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

• For Class 6 Admission:
  • Age: Candidates should be between 10 and 12 years old as of March 31, 2025 (i.e., born between April 1, 2013, and March 31, 2015, inclusive).
  • Education: Must have completed Class 5 from a recognized school.
  • Note: Admission is open to both boys and girls in Class 6 across all Sainik Schools.
• For Class 9 Admission:
  • Age: Candidates should be between 13 and 15 years old as of March 31, 2025 (i.e., born between April 1, 2010, and March 31, 2012, inclusive).
  • Education: Must have completed Class 8 from a recognized school.
  • Note: Admission for girls in Class 9 is subject to the availability of vacancies.

Steps to Apply:

1. Visit the official website: aissee.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the registration link for AISSEE 2025.
3. Complete the registration form with the required personal and academic details.
4. Upload the necessary documents as per the specified format and size.
5. Pay the application fee through the available online payment methods.
6. Submit the application and print the confirmation page for future reference.

The AISSEE 2025 examination will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode with multiple-choice questions. The exam date and admit card release details will be announced by NTA in due course.
