May 26, 2025 — The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has published the first provisional allotment list for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) UG 2025 counselling today, May 26, 2025. Candidates can view their allotment status on the official website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

📝 Seat Allotment Options

Candidates whose names appear in the first allotment list have until 1:00 PM on May 30, 2025, to confirm their seats by selecting one of the following options:

• Freeze: Accept the allotted seat and exit the counselling process.

• Float: Accept the current seat while remaining eligible for higher preferences in subsequent rounds.

• Exit: Withdraw from the counselling process entirely.

For both ‘Freeze’ and ‘Float’ options, a non-refundable confirmation fee of ₹20,000 must be paid by the deadline.

💳 Payment Details

• Confirmation Fee: ₹20,000 for all candidates opting for ‘Freeze’ or ‘Float’.

• Counselling Registration Fee: Previously paid during registration—₹30,000 for General/OBC candidates and ₹20,000 for SC/ST/PwD/EWS candidates.

Candidates who choose the ‘Exit’ option are not required to pay the confirmation fee.

📅 Upcoming Counselling Schedule

• Second Allotment List: June 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM.

• Confirmation Fee Payment for Second List: June 4 to June 9, 2025, until 1:00 PM.

• University Fee Payment for ‘Freeze’ Option (Rounds 1 & 2): By June 14, 2025, 5:00 PM.

• Third and Final Allotment List: June 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM.

• Confirmation Fee Payment for Third List: June 20 to June 23, 2025, until 1:00 PM.

• University Fee Payment for ‘Freeze’ Option (Round 3): By June 27, 2025, 5:00 PM.

📌 Important Notes

• Candidates will be considered only for the NLUs they have listed in their preference order.

• Failure to pay the confirmation fee by the stipulated deadline will result in forfeiture of the allotted seat.

• Candidates are advised to regularly check the official CLAT website for updates and further instructions.
