UP NEET UG 2025 Round 3 Counselling Begins; Choice Filling From October 11

The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh, has started the Round 3 counselling process for UP NEET UG 2025 admissions. Eligible candidates seeking MBBS and BDS seats in government and private medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh can now register through the official counselling portal.

🔸 Who Can Participate
Candidates who have not been allotted any seat in Round 1 or Round 2.
Those who were allotted a seat in Round 2 but did not join or resigned from their allotted seat can also participate after re-depositing the security amount.
Students already admitted through earlier rounds and who wish for upgradation can also participate, as per eligibility and fee rules.
Only those candidates whose documents have been successfully verified and who complete fee payment within the deadline will be eligible for choice filling.
🔸 Choice Filling and Seat Availability
During the choice-filling window from October 11 to 13, candidates can select and lock their preferred colleges and courses.
The system will display both vacant seats and seats available due to cancellations or withdrawals.
Unfilled reserved category seats from previous rounds may be converted to other categories as per government rules.
Once a candidate locks their choices, no modifications will be allowed, so careful selection is advised.
🔸 Seat Allotment and Admission
The seat allotment result for Round 3 will be declared on October 15, 2025.
Candidates who receive allotment must download their allotment letter and complete admission formalities at the allotted college between October 16 and 24, 2025.
Failure to join within the prescribed period will lead to forfeiture of the security deposit.
For government colleges, candidates who do not join after allotment will lose their deposit and seat claim.
For private colleges, non-reporting may lead to loss of the deposit and part of the tuition fee.

Register, upload documents, and pay fees well before the last date to avoid technical delays.
Keep scanned copies of documents ready for upload, including NEET UG scorecard, Class 10 & 12 mark sheets, domicile, and category certificates.
Ensure accurate entry of personal and academic details during registration.
Candidates are advised to monitor the official counselling portal regularly for notices or updates related to seat allotment, document verification, and reporting guidelines.
