In case more than one candidate has been declared as the first rank holder by an educational board, BITS Pilani will offer admission to a maximum of four candidates. If more than four students have obtained first rank, the institute will use a tie-breaking method given below in descending order.

• Class 12 mathematics scores
• Scores in Class 12 physics
• Scores in Class 12 chemistry
• Marks obtained in Class 10 mathematics will be considered.
• If the tie still exists, Class 10 science score will be taken into account.

“If the situation warrants, the Admission committee reserves the right to add any additional criteria including a written test, to break the tie. Any such criteria will be announced to the candidates who have applied for admission under this scheme,” it said.

Class 12 toppers 2024 seeking admission at BITS campuses will have to register using a valid mobile number, email address. The last date to register is June 25 up to 5 pm.
