The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) has officially extended the counselling registration deadline for IAT 2025 to July 7, 2025. Candidates who qualified in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2025 now have additional time to complete their counselling registration and secure their spot in the BS-MS dual degree programme.

Previously scheduled to close earlier this week, the deadline extension comes as a relief to many candidates who were awaiting CUET UG results or needed more time to complete document verification and preference selection.

• Counselling Process Includes:

  • Registration & fee payment

  • Filling college preferences (IISER Pune, Kolkata, Mohali, etc.)

  • Seat allocation based on rank & preferences

🔹 Who Can Register?

Only candidates who appeared in IAT 2025 and obtained a qualifying score are eligible to participate in the counselling process. The rank list and eligibility cutoffs are available on the IISER admission website.

• First Round of Seat Allotment: Expected by mid-July 2025

• Selected candidates must confirm admission by paying seat acceptance fees within the given window.

• Further rounds will be conducted based on seat vacancy.
