    cbse

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has commenced the registration process for the 2025 supplementary examinations for private candidates of Class 10 and Class 12. The registration window is open from May 30 to June 17, 2025. Eligible students can submit their applications through the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.

    Who Can Apply?

Private candidates who appeared in the CBSE Class 10 or 12 board examinations in 2025 and were placed in the ‘compartment’ category are eligible to apply for the supplementary exams. Additionally, private students who have already passed but wish to improve their marks in a subject can also register.

Regular students with a ‘compartment’ status must apply for the supplementary exams through their respective schools, not individually.

    Examination Schedule

The supplementary examinations for both Class 10 and Class 12 are scheduled to begin on July 15, 2025. A detailed date sheet will be released later on the official CBSE website.

Applicants are advised to double-check the information they enter, especially subject selection and personal details, as no corrections will be allowed after the form is submitted.

The application fee per subject is as follows:

    • Private candidates in India: ₹300
