WBJEE 2024 admit card tomorrow at wbjeeb.nic.in; exam on April 28
The WBJEE 2024 exam will be conducted in two shifts. Candidates should use their registration number and password to download the admit card.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will issue the admit card for the WB Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE) 2024 tomorrow, April 18. The WBJEE 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on April 28.
Candidates who have applied for the WBJEE 2024 exam should download the admit card by visiting the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and password to download the WBJEE 2024 admit card.
The WBJEE 2024 exam will be conducted in two shifts. In the first shift, paper 1 (mathematics) will be conducted from 11 am to 1 pm while paper 2 (physics and chemistry) will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm in the second shift.
According to the eligibility criteria, candidates should have a minimum score of 45% in Class 12 in either physics, chemistry, and mathematics, or biology, computer science, biotechnology, or computer application. Candidates from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), other backward classes (OBC), and person with disability (PwD) categories will get a 5% relaxation in aggregate marks.
The WBJEE exam is conducted for admission into undergraduate courses in engineering, technology, pharmacy and architecture programmes of different universities, government colleges as well as self-financing engineering and technological institutes in the state of West Bengal for the academic session 2024-25.
WBJEE 2024: Exam pattern
The WBJEE 2024 exam will have two papers. Paper 1 will have 75 questions from mathematics and paper 2 will carry physics, chemistry subjects carrying 40 questions each. Each paper will be divided into categories.
Mathematics will comprise 50 questions from category 1, 15 questions from category 2, and 10 questions from category 3. On the other hand, the physics and chemistry sections will feature 30 questions from category 1, with 5 questions each from category 2 and category 3.
Candidates will be awarded two marks for each correct answer. For category 1, an incorrect response will result in a deduction of 0.25 marks, while for category 2, 0.5 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. There will be no negative marking in category 3.
