New Delhi, May 14, 2025 — The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the admit cards for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Preliminary 2025. Registered candidates can now download their e-admit cards from the official UPSC websites: upsc.gov.in and upsconline.gov.in.

The UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 is scheduled to be held on May 25, 2025, aiming to fill 979 vacancies across prestigious services such as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and others.

How to Download the UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 Admit Card:

1. Visit the official UPSC website: upsc.gov.in or upsconline.gov.in.

2. Click on the link titled “e-Admit Card for Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2025.”

3. Read and accept the instructions provided.

4. Choose the option to download the admit card using either your Registration ID or Roll Number.

5. Enter your credentials and date of birth.

6. Submit the details to view and download your admit card.

7. Print multiple copies of the admit card for future reference.

Important Details to Verify on the Admit Card:

• Candidate’s Name and Photograph

• Roll Number and Registration ID

• Date of Birth

• Exam Date and Time

• Exam Centre Name and Address

• Reporting Time and Gate Closing Time

• Instructions for Candidates

Candidates are advised to carefully verify all details on the admit card. In case of any discrepancies, immediately contact the UPSC at uscsp-upsc@nic.in.

Exam Day Guidelines:

• Carry a printed copy of the e-admit card and a valid photo ID.

• If the photograph on the admit card is unclear or missing, bring two passport-size photographs along with a photo ID.

• Entry to the examination centre will close 30 minutes before the scheduled start time: 9:00 AM for the forenoon session and 2:00 PM for the afternoon session.

• Electronic items, bags, books, and valuables are not allowed inside the examination centre.

• Only a black ballpoint pen is permitted for marking the OMR sheet.

• Simple wristwatches are allowed; however, smartwatches and digital gadgets are prohibited.

Candidates are encouraged to download and print their admit cards well in advance to avoid any last-minute issues. Ensure adherence to all guidelines to facilitate a smooth examination experience
