The Directorate General of Medical Education & Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has officially started the registration process for Round 1 of NEET UG 2025 counselling. This process is for candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the 85% state quota.

At the same time, DGME has released a list of 78 candidates who have been debarred from participating in this year’s counselling due to various violations of previous counselling rules.

🔹 Debarred Candidates – Reason and Breakdown:

• 57 MBBS aspirants were allotted seats during last year’s stray vacancy round but either did not take admission (47 candidates) or dropped out after enrollment (10 candidates).

• 8 candidates who left their stray round BDS seats without joining.

• 13 BDS students who discontinued their course mid-session.

As per the counselling rules, these candidates are barred from participating in any future rounds and will not receive a refund of the security deposit.

🗓️ UP NEET UG Counselling 2025 – Round 1 Schedule:

• Registration & Document Upload Begins: July 18, 2025 (2:00 PM)

• Last Date for Registration & Fee Payment: July 28, 2025 (2:00 PM)

Candidates must complete the registration, upload the necessary documents, and pay both the registration fee and security deposit as per the DGME instructions within the given timeline.

📋 Important Instructions:

• Only NEET UG 2025 qualified candidates who are not debarred are eligible to register.

• Candidates should keep scanned copies of all required documents ready, including:

  • NEET scorecard

  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets

  • Domicile and caste certificates (if applicable)

  • Passport-size photographs

  • Valid ID proof

• The next stages (choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting) will proceed after successful completion of registration.

• Ensure timely completion of the registration and document upload process.

• Keep a close watch on the official UP NEET counselling portal for further updates regarding seat matrix, choice filling, and round-wise allotments.
