UCEED 2024 result out on uceed.iitb.ac.in; counselling process from March 14
The Indian Institute of Technology will allow the students to download the UCEED 2024 and CEED 2024 score cards from March 11.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) has released the UCEED result on the official website, uceed.iitb.ac.in. As per schedule released by the exam authority, students can download the CEED and UCEED score cards from March 11. The UCEED 2024 score card will be valid for one year.
The mean and standard deviation for UCEED 2024 Part-A are 43.91 and 23.03, respectively. Students who have cleared the UCEED 2024 exam will be eligible for admission into BDes programmes in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and other participating colleges. Qualifying in UCEED 2024 is a must for all candidates to apply for admission to the BDes programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur.
The examination authority will start the counselling for students clearing the UCEED 2024 from March 14 to 31. Students who meet the cut-off criteria will have to register on the official website by paying a registration fee of Rs 4,000 for UCCED 2024 counselling. The first allotment list of the UCEED 2024 will be released on April 10.
The examination authority said that seats allotted to foreign nationals are supernumerary, with a cap of 10% of the total available seats in the programme, in the order of merit. At the time of seat allocation, the candidates with OCI/PIO cards issued On or BEFORE 4th March 2021 will be considered for the seats in the open category.
UCEED 2024 rank list
The IIT Bombay will allot ranks to all shortlisted candidates. Rank list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained in Part-A and Part-B of UCEED 2024. If the total marks scored by two or more candidates are the same, then the following tie-break criteria will be used for awarding ranks:
A higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Part-B
- If the tie persists the higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 2 of Part-A
- If the criteria (i) and (ii) do not break the tie, higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 1 of Part-A
- If there is a tie even after this, the candidates will be assigned the same rank.
UCEED 2024 Result: How to check
Candidates can follow these steps to check the CEED 2024 result:
- Visit the the official website, uceed.iitb.ac.in/2024
- On the homepage, click on the ‘UCEED 2024 result’ link
- In the next tab, click on the ‘login’ button and enter the registered email ID and password.
- The result will be displayed.
