BHU UG 2nd seat allotment on August 11 due to mismatch in data provided by NTA, candidates

    BHU UG 2nd seat allotment results 2023 will be published on the official website, bhuonline.in. BHU PG allotment will be out after August 11.

    Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has announced to publish the second round undergraduate (BHU UG) seat allotment 2023 on August 11. The university said that the BHU UG second list of allotment date has been postponed due to mismatch of data shared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and that provided by the candidates.

    Candidates will be able to check BHU UG 2nd seat allotment results 2023 from the official website, bhuonline.in. Earlier, the second round of the allotment list was scheduled to be uploaded on August 7 and the third round allocation on August 9.

    BHU advised candidates to prioritise the regular seat option over the paid seats for their preferred course. However, if a candidate chooses a paid seat option despite having a chance of qualifying based on merit, they will be allotted the paid seat, it said.

    The BHU UG seat allotment will be based on the candidate’s “preference order” and merit. The university also announced to declare the BHU PG allotment results after August 11.

    The fee payment window for round 1 BHU UG allotment was closed on August 8. The university will also announce the revised schedule for accepting the allotment and payment of fees on the official website.

    In other news, BHU has 79 hostels which accommodate over 16,000 students. The university’s Student Wellness Cell launched a hostel counselling outreach programme. on various themes including mindfulness, dealing with exam stress, self-care and mental health.
