“Step-by-Step Guide: How NTA Plans to Conduct JEE Main 2025 Seamlessly”

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has established comprehensive guidelines to ensure the smooth conduct of JEE Main 2025. Here’s a detailed overview from entry to exit:
1. Pre-Exam Preparation:
- Admit Card: Download the JEE Main 2025 admit card from the official NTA website (jeemain.nta.nic.in) starting January 19, 2025. Verify all details for accuracy.
- Required Documents: Along with the admit card, carry a valid photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID) and a passport-sized photograph.
2. Arrival at the Exam Centre:
- Reporting Time: Arrive at the examination centre at least two hours before the exam to accommodate security checks and verification processes.
- Dress Code: While NTA hasn’t specified a strict dress code, it’s advisable to wear simple and comfortable clothing. Avoid attire with large buttons, heavy embroidery, or metallic items. Shoes with thick soles and jewelry are discouraged to facilitate smooth security checks.
3. Entry Protocol:
- Frisking: Undergo mandatory frisking while maintaining social distancing.
- Document Verification: Present your admit card and valid ID proof for verification.
4. Inside the Examination Hall:
- Seating: Proceed to your designated seat immediately after entry. Changing seats is strictly prohibited.
- Materials Provided: A pen/pencil and blank paper for rough work will be supplied. Write your name and roll number on the rough sheet.
- Login: Log in to the computer system as per the instructions to read exam guidelines before commencement.
5. During the Exam:
- Timings:
- First Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Second Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Conduct: Maintain silence and adhere to the instructions provided by invigilators. Any misconduct may lead to disqualification.
6. Post-Exam Procedure:

- Exit: Follow the instructions for staggered exit to maintain social distancing.
Additional Guidelines:
- Prohibited Items: Electronic devices, calculators, written materials, and personal belongings are not allowed inside the exam hall.
