The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the final answer key for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025 after receiving fresh objections and feedback from candidates. One additional question has now been officially dropped from the final answer key, taking the total number of dropped questions to 28.

This move comes in response to several candidates and subject experts pointing out discrepancies in the earlier released final answer key. NTA reviewed the representations and took corrective action to ensure transparency and fairness in the evaluation process.

CUET UG 2025 was conducted in multiple shifts between May 13 and June 3 in computer-based mode for over 13.5 lakh candidates across India and abroad. The exam is a key admission gateway for more than 205 universities, including central, state, deemed, and private institutions.

Bonus Marks for Dropped Questions

Candidates who attempted the now-dropped question will be awarded bonus marks as per the official marking scheme. This can potentially lead to variations in individual scores and merit ranks, impacting university-wise admission cutoffs.

Result Already Declared

The CUET UG 2025 result was declared earlier this week and is available on examinationservices.nic.in and cuet.nta.nic.in. Students can download their scorecards using their application number and password.

With the revised final answer key, universities will now proceed with their counselling and admission processes. Students are advised to regularly check the official websites of their target universities for updates on merit lists, counselling portals, and documentation requirements.
