The National Medical Commission (NMC) has recently updated the seat matrix for NEET PG 2024, adding 820 new seats across various medical programs for the 2024-25 academic session. This revised seat matrix is available on the Medical Counselling Committee’s (MCC) official website.

In a related development, the Supreme Court has issued a notice concerning a plea that seeks the cancellation and reconduct of Round 3 of the All India Quota (AIQ) NEET PG 2024 counselling. The petitioners allege anomalies in the counselling process, particularly citing delays in the completion of the second round of state counselling in Madhya Pradesh, which they claim led to instances of seat blocking.

The Supreme Court’s notice indicates that the issues raised in the plea are under judicial consideration. Candidates participating in the NEET PG 2024 counselling process are advised to stay updated with official announcements from the MCC and the NMC, as further changes to the counselling schedule or seat matrix may occur based on the court’s decisions.
