The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) has officially released the RMO 2025 Solutions, along with a detailed clarification regarding discrepancies in earlier uploaded files. Students appearing for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) 2025 can now access the updated solutions through the official HBCSE website.

According to the latest announcement, separate solution documents have been made available for:

• General RMO 2025 candidates, and

• KV–NVS students, who may access a dedicated solution set through the “KV-NVS RMO 2025 Solutions” link.

Clarification on Earlier Mistakes

HBCSE has acknowledged that earlier versions of the RMO 2025 solutions inadvertently contained marking schemes embedded within the solution documents. These files were mistakenly uploaded and have since been removed.

The institute further noted that:

• The marking schemes became publicly accessible due to this error.

• Regional evaluation committees might have applied modified versions of these marking schemes during the evaluation.

• As a result, differences may exist between the marking scheme seen online and the one actually used in the scoring process.

• This could lead to variations between expected and actual scores for individual problems and the aggregate total.

HBCSE emphasized that students should rely primarily on the updated solution PDFs rather than the previously circulated documents.

What Students Should Keep in Mind

• The official solutions are now corrected and final.

• The marking scheme used for evaluation may differ from what appears in the solution PDF.

• Students must avoid relying on earlier leaked or mis-uploaded data.

• For complete accuracy, they should refer only to the latest files provided by HBCSE.
