The University of Mumbai has officially released the first merit list for undergraduate admissions for the academic session 2026–27. • BAMMC
    • BSc IT
    • Other professional and self-financed courses

The university has clarified that the verification process will primarily be conducted online. Students are required to upload scanned copies of necessary documents and submit the mandatory undertaking form during the admission process. Any discrepancy in documents or failure to complete the verification within the timeline may result in cancellation of admission.

Candidates are advised to keep the following documents ready:

Mumbai University is expected to witness intense competition this year, especially for commerce, management, media, and IT-related programmes, due to a high number of applications and strong Class 12 board examination results across different boards.

As per the academic calendar, orientation programmes and commencement of classes for newly admitted undergraduate students are expected to begin from June 13, 2026.
