NEET-UG 2025 Counselling Update: MCC Releases Special Stray Round Seat Allotment Result
New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially declared the NEET-UG 2025 Special Stray Vacancy Round seat allotment result. As per the published list, 264 candidates have been allotted seats under this special counselling round conducted to fill the remaining vacant MBBS and BDS seats across participating medical and dental colleges.
Candidates who registered and exercised choices for the special stray round can now check their allotment status through the official counselling portal.
About the Special Stray Vacancy Round
The special stray vacancy round was conducted by MCC to ensure maximum utilisation of available seats after completion of all regular counselling rounds, including Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and the standard Stray Vacancy Round.
This round is particularly aimed at filling:
Vacant MBBS seats
Remaining BDS seats
Seats surrendered or left unfilled after earlier rounds
Only eligible and registered candidates were considered for allotment.
