MCC Extends NEET UG 2025 Stray Vacancy Choice Filling — 1,232 MBBS Seats Still Vacant Under AIQ

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the choice filling deadline for the NEET UG 2025 Stray Vacancy Round till today, November 12, in view of the large number of vacant seats across medical colleges. As per the latest data released by MCC, 1,232 MBBS seats under the All India Quota (AIQ) remain vacant after the completion of the earlier rounds of counselling.
Candidates who have not yet submitted or locked their choices can do so on the official website — mcc.nic.in — before the deadline expires. The extension aims to provide one final opportunity for eligible candidates to secure admission to MBBS seats left vacant under the AIQ.
The choice locking facility will close later tonight, followed by seat allotment results expected to be announced shortly after the deadline. Once allotted, candidates must report to their respective colleges within the specified timeline with all original documents for verification and admission formalities.
This stray vacancy round marks the final phase of NEET UG 2025 AIQ counselling, after which the remaining seats will be surrendered to the respective state authorities.
