JEE Mains 2025 Update: NTA Issues Advisory for JEE (Main) 2026 Aspirants

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an official advisory for students preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2026. The exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode in two sessions — January 2026 and April 2026.

    According to the advisory, the online application process for Session 1 (January 2026) will begin in October 2025, while for Session 2 (April 2026), applications will start from the last week of January 2026.

    NTA’s Efforts to Enhance Accessibility

    To facilitate a larger number of candidates, NTA is working towards increasing the number of examination cities and improving the ease of access for engineering aspirants. Special provisions are being made to meet the needs of PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates as well.


    Important Guidelines for Applicants

    To ensure accuracy and transparency, the NTA has advised candidates to:

    • Keep their documents ready before filling out the form.

    • Use a valid Aadhaar Number for authentication and verification.

    • Provide accurate details such as Name, Date of Birth, and Gender as per Aadhaar or official school records.

    • Upload a scanned photograph and signature as per specified guidelines.

    The advisory highlights that the same Aadhaar information should be used in both Session 1 and Session 2 application forms.


    Documents and Eligibility

    Candidates must ensure they have a valid Class 10 or 12 mark sheet, Aadhaar Card, and other academic details before applying.
