Ranchi, Jharkhand: Delhi Public School (DPS) Ranchi has once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence and innovation as its talented students secured top honours in the prestigious Jharkhand School Innovation Challenge 2025.
The brilliant duo — Bhavya Singh and Ekanshi Singh — earned the title of Second Runner-Up, bringing pride to their school with their outstanding innovation and presentation.

Selected Among the Best—From 60 Projects to the Grand Finale

The event was jointly organised by the Naresh Vashisht Centre for Tinkering and Innovation (NVCTI), IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, and the CIIE IIT(ISM) Dhanbad Foundation.
The initiative aims to promote innovation, problem-solving skills, design thinking, and technological creativity among school students.

This year, a total of 60 innovative projects were showcased by students from various schools across Jharkhand. Out of these, only 20 exceptional projects qualified for the Grand Finale, where DPS Ranchi’s team stood out with their impactful idea and strong technical understanding.

Cash Prize Adds to the Achievement

For securing the Second Runner-Up position, the DPS Ranchi team received a cash prize of ₹15,000.
Additionally, they were awarded ₹5,000 for qualifying for the Grand Finale — a recognition of their consistency, creativity, and excellence throughout the competition.

Project Praised for Innovation and Social Relevance

Judges and organisers appreciated the team’s project for its creativity, technical depth, and social impact.
Their innovation not only addressed a meaningful problem but also reflected practicality and future potential, making it stand out among competitors.
