Assam postpones Round 2 counselling
The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has officially postponed the Round 2 counselling schedule for MBBS and BDS admissions. While the first round concluded recently, the revised dates for the second round are yet to be announced.
Officials cited administrative reasons and seat data finalisation as the cause of delay.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the Assam DME website for the updated timetable.
This postponement has left aspirants in a wait-and-watch mode, especially those who were relying on reshuffling of seats in the second round.
MP reopens resignation link for candidates
Meanwhile, the Department of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh has reopened the resignation link for students allotted seats in Round 1.
Candidates who wish to surrender their seats can now do so within the extended deadline.
Officials stated that the move was taken after multiple requests from students who had already secured admissions elsewhere or wished to participate in the upcoming rounds without being blocked by earlier allotments.
