NEET UG 2024 Result : NTA declares city and center-specific results, direct link to check here
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) results in city and centre specific manner today on July 20. According to the Supreme Court’s order, the NTA was supposed to publish the NEET UG result 2024 centre-wise and city-wise by 12 noon. The results have now been made available online on the official NEET UG 2024 website at exams.nta.ac.in.
There is still no clear information on how to check the NEET UG centre-wise and city-wise results. Unofficial sources suggest that the exam centre code might be required to access the results. The Supreme Court, while hearing petitions regarding the NEET-UG 2024 controversy on July 18, ordered the NTA to declare the NEET 2024 results city-wise and centre-wise. This decision aims to determine if candidates appearing at allegedly compromised centres scored higher marks than those at other locations. The apex court is expected to give its final verdict on July 22 after reviewing pleas seeking the exam’s cancellation, a re-test, and a court-monitored investigation into malpractice allegations.
“We direct the NTA to publish the marks obtained by students in the UG-2024 NEET examination without disclosing their identities. The result should be declared city-wise and centre-wise by 12 noon on July 20, 2024, and uploaded on the NTA website,” stated the bench, which also includes Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra, in its order.
