The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the window to challenge the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2024 answer key today, May 31. Candidates who appeared for the exam can raise objections against the NEET 2024 answer key online till 11:50 pm on the official website of NEET, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.

Students can also challenge the NEET UG 2024 recorded responses and OMR grading released along with the official answer key of NEET. In order to complete the process, applicants will be required to pay an objection fee of Rs 200 for each answer key and each question. The fee will be non-refundable and can be paid via debit card or credit card or even net banking.

• Upload supporting documents by clicking on ‘choose file’
• Save your claim and move to the next screen
• Review the challenges and click on ‘save your claim and pay fee finally’
• Select payment mode and pay the objection fee
• After successful payment, download and take a print out of the challenge receipt

NEET 2024: Steps to challenge recorded responses

The detailed steps to submit grievances against the NEET OMR sheet 2024 or responses are as follows:

• Visit the website, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/
• Login with your application number and date of birth
• Select the ‘OMR challenge’ and click on the challenge link
• Select the questions to challenge
• The number next to the question under the column ‘Captured Response as per OMR Sheet’ stands for the option opted by the candidates in the OMR answer sheets.
• Use the options given in ‘candidate’s claim’ to challenge the response

• Submit and move to the next screen. Your challenges will be displayed
• Click on ‘submit and pay fee finally’
• Select payment mode and pay the challenge fee
• After successful payment, download and take a print out of the challenge receipt

NTA NEET 2024: What’s next

A panel of subject experts will verify the challenges made by the candidates and in case a challenge is found to be correct, NTA NEET answer key 2024 will be revised and applied in the responses of all candidates. Based on the revised final answer key, NEET UG results 2024 will be prepared and declared.
