Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) has opened the on-spot registration process for undergraduate (UG) admissions 2025 from today, September 1. This move aims to fill the vacant seats left after the completion of earlier counselling rounds.

On-Spot Registration Details

• Students who were unable to secure admission in the earlier rounds now have a chance to apply.

• Eligible candidates can complete their on-spot registration through the official LNMU admission portal.

• After registration, the university will prepare a selection list of candidates based on merit and seat availability.

Selection List Release

The on-spot selection list will be published on September 4, 2025. Students whose names appear in the list will be required to complete the admission process, including document verification and fee payment, within the given timeline.

Required Documents

Applicants must keep the following documents ready for verification:

• Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates

• Transfer Certificate (TC) / School Leaving Certificate

• Caste certificate (if applicable)

• Income certificate (for EWS or reserved categories)

• Passport-sized photographs

• Valid ID proof (Aadhaar card, etc.)

On-spot admissions are conducted by universities like LNMU to ensure that no UG seats remain vacant. This process provides a final opportunity for students who missed earlier counselling or were not allotted seats.
