    JoSAA Mock Allotment 2024-2025

    JoSAA 2024 counselling registration will commence tentatively on June 10. The authority will update the JoSAA registration link on the website, josaa.nic.in. Candidates who qualify the JEE Main or JEE Advanced will be eligible to participate in the JoSAA counselling 2024. The authority will soon announce the JoSAA 2024 dates online. Students have to complete the JoSAA registration and choice filling to be eligible for seat allotment and further rounds of counselling. There shall be six rounds of JoSAA 2024 counselling. JoSAA conducts the counselling process for admission to NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and IITs.

    After each round, the JoSAA 2024 seat allotment result will be made available online. JoSAA seat allotment will be based on the ranks in JEE Main/Advanced, choices filled by candidates, by considering the reservation and JoSAA seat allotment policies.     JoSAA Eligibility Criteria 2024

    There is no specific eligibility criteria for JoSAA 2024. Candidates are required to qualify the JEE Main 2024 or JEE Advanced 2024 to participate in JoSAA counselling 2024. Additionally, the criteria of the participating institutes also have to be met by the candidates. If the required criteria is not fulfilled, the candidate will not be allotted the seat to the institute offering B.Tech admission.

    JoSAA Registration & Choice Filling 2024

    The authorities will commence the registration & choice-filling process of JoSAA 2024 online. The tentative date for JoSAA 2024 registration is June 10, 2024. All the eligible candidates will have to register before the final date to participate in JoSAA 2024. Only those candidates who qualify JEE Main 2024 or JEE Advanced 2024 will be bale to log in and register for the JoSAA counselling procedure.

    Steps for JoSAA 2024 Registration & Choice Filling

    Step 1: Registration – In the first step, the candidates will have to complete the JoSAA 2024 registration process. Candidates can follow the given steps to register for JoSAA 2024.

    • Go to the official website of JoSAA 2024.

    • Click on the registration link.

    • Enter JEE Main 2024 roll number and password to register.

    • JEE Advanced 2024 qualified candidates can use their corresponding password to log in.

    • Enter basic details such as the candidate’s nationality, state code of eligibility, gender, and more.

    • Review the details and reconfirm it.

    • No personal information, except for contact information, can be modified by the candidates.

    Step 2: JoSAA Choice Filling – After the JoSAA registration process is complete, candidates will have to fill in their choice of courses and colleges from the available list. The courses and colleges for which the candidates are eligible according to their qualifications (JEE Main or JEE Advanced) will be listed in online mode. The selection of courses and colleges has to be done in the order of preference.

    Step 3: Choice Locking – Finally, the candidates have to lock their selected choices. It has to be noted that no changes will be accepted once the choices are locked by the candidates. A printout of the locked choices has to be taken for future reference.

    JoSAA Rank List 2024

    Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the rank list of JoSAA 2024 after the JEE Main and JEE Advanced results are announced. A separate rank list will be released for different categories. JoSAA counselling opening and closing rank list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in JEE Main 2024 or JEE Advanced 2024.

    JoSAA Mock Allotment 2024

    The exam authority conducts the JoSAA 2024 mock allotment to help candidates know their admission chances into their preferred colleges. The authorities release the JoSAA mock allotment result on the official website. If the colleges and courses allotted during mock allotment are not satisfactory, then the candidates can accordingly modify their order preference. Since the JoSAA allotment is not final, the candidates are given enough time to make the necessary changes in the order of preference.

    JoSAA Counselling 2024

    Eligible candidates will have to participate in the counselling of JoSAA 2024 to get admission into the participating institutes. JoSAA 2024 counselling process consists of registration, choice filling, mock allotment, final allotment, etc. The authorities will conduct six rounds of JoSAA counselling 2024 to provide admissions to all eligible candidates. After the JoSAA mock allotment is announced, the candidates will be able to modify their previously selected preferences. The JoSAA allotment results are announced online and candidates have to log in to download their provisional allotment results.

    JoSAA Seat Allocation 2024

    Joint Seat Allocation Authority will release the result of JoSAA seat allocation for rounds 1 to 6 online. To check the seat allocation result, the candidates will have to log in using their JEE Main 2024 roll number and password.

    How to check JoSAA Seat Allotment Result 2024?

    Candidates should take the following steps to check the JoSAA seat allotment result-

    • Visit josaa.nic.in.

    • Click on the “View Seat Allotment Result” link.

    • Enter JEE Main 2024 application number, password and security pin.

    • Click on “Login”.

    • JoSAA 2024 seat allotment results will be displayed on the screen.

    • Download the allotment letter and take a printout.

     

     

    What after JoSAA Seat Allotment 2024?

    Candidates will be allotted seats based on their JEE Main/JEE Advanced merit, preferences, category and availability of seats. The allotted candidates will have to download their provisional allotment letter and pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 35,000. After the fee is paid, the candidates will have to verify their documents at the Reporting Centre (RC).

    The allotted candidates will be able to select any of the following options according to their preference after the JoSAA seat allotment results 2024 are announced by the authorities:

    • Floating: If the candidates wish to accept the allotted seat but are also open to upgradation and admission to higher preferred institutes or courses, then they will have to select this option.

    • Freezing: Candidates will have to select this option if they are satisfied with their allotted seat and do not wish to participate in further rounds of counselling.

    • Sliding: The candidates who choose this option will confirm their allotment but will also be open for admission into a higher preferred course in the same institute.

     

     

    After the document verification is completed, the candidates will have to report to their respective allotted institutes to confirm their admission. The required fee also has to be paid by the candidates.

    JoSAA Cutoff 2024

    The opening and closing ranks at which candidates will get admission to the participating institutes (IITs, NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, etc.) form the JoSAA 2024 cutoff. The authorities will release the JoSAA 2024 cutoff after each round of seat allotment.

    JoSAA Reporting Centres 2024

    After the allotment process is over, candidates will have to verify their documents at the reporting centres of JoSAA 2024. The authorities will release the list of reporting centres on the official website. Candidates can check the important points related to JoSAA reporting centres here-

    • Candidates will be required to physically report for verification of documents at the JoSAA reporting centres 2024.

    • Candidates must carry the original and photocopies of all the required documents for verification.

    • Different reporting centres will be available for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and IITs.

    • Candidates will have to report to the reporting centres according to their allotted institutes. There will be separate institutes for the NIT+ system (NITs, IIITs and GFTIs) and IITs.

    • After the verification process is completed, candidates will have to complete their admission procedure by reporting at their allotted institute.

    • In case of a change in the seat allotment of a candidate from the NIT+ system to IITs or the other way around, then the candidate will have to report to the changed institute. Failing to report will result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.
