    JEE Advanced 2025: Over 54,000 Aspirants Compete for 17,760 IIT Seats—Only 1 in 3 to Secure Admission

    The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has announced the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025. Out of 1,80,442 candidates who appeared, 54,378 have qualified for admission into the prestigious IITs. With approximately 17,760 seats available across 23 IITs, the competition is intense, with only about one in three qualifiers expected to secure a seat.

    The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will commence the counselling process on June 3, 2025. Candidates must register and fill in their choices of courses and institutes. Seat allocation will be based on JEE Advanced ranks, candidate preferences, and seat availability.
