New Delhi, May 19, 2025 — Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has announced the third edition of its Short-Term Training Programme (STTP) on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), scheduled from July 1 to July 19, 2025. Organized by the Department of Computer Engineering, the 50-hour course will be conducted in a hybrid format, offering both online and offline learning options.

Programme Highlights

• Duration: 50 hours (20 hours of theoretical lectures and 30 hours of hands-on practical sessions)

• Mode: Hybrid (60 seats for offline participants and 100 seats for online attendees)

• Eligibility: Open to diploma holders, undergraduates, postgraduates, PhD scholars, and faculty members with a background in mathematics

• Modules Covered:

  1. Introduction to AI & Python Programming Basics

  2. Applied Data Science with Python

  3. Machine Learning Algorithms

  4. Deep Learning for Computer Vision using Keras & TensorFlow

  5. Deep Learning for Natural Language Processing (NLP) using Keras & TensorFlow

The sessions will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. Lectures and training will be delivered by experts from JMI, IITs, IIITs, and international universities, as well as industry professionals, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

Application and Fee Details

• Application Deadline: May 24, 2025

• Application Review: May 26, 2025

• Notification to Selected Candidates: May 28, 2025

• Fee Payment Deadline: June 5, 2025

• Registration Fees:

  • JMI Students: ₹4,500

  • External Students: ₹6,500

  • Industry Professionals: ₹10,000

  • Foreign/NRI Participants: ₹10,000

  • Note: Online participants (excluding NRI candidates) are eligible for a ₹1,000 discount.

Admissions will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited paid accommodation is available for outstation participants. Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will receive a certificate.
