May 27, 2025 | Ranchi — The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially announced the Class 10 board examination results for 2025. This year, the overall pass percentage has risen to an impressive 91.71%, marking a 1.31% increase from the previous year’s 90.39% .

Key Highlights:

• Total Candidates: Out of 4,33,944 registered students, 4,31,488 appeared for the exams, and 3,95,755 successfully passed

• Gender-wise Performance: Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 91%, compared to 89.7% among boys .

• District-wise Performance:

  • Top Performer: Koderma district led with a remarkable 98.1% pass rate .

  • Lowest Performer: West Singhbhum recorded the lowest pass percentage in the state .

• Division-wise Results:

  • First Division: 2,21,040 students

  • Second Division: 1,57,194 students

  • Third Division: 17,521 students .

Accessing the Results:

Students can check their results through the following platforms:

• Official Websites: jacresults.com and jac.jharkhand.gov.in

• DigiLocker: results.digilocker.gov.in

• SMS: By sending their roll number to the designated number provided by JAC.

Due to high traffic, some users may experience delays or temporary unavailability on the official websites.

Government Initiatives:

In a bid to support meritorious students, the Jharkhand government has introduced several schemes:

• Provision of student credit cards with a limit of ₹15 lakh.

• Monthly financial assistance of up to ₹4,000 for higher education.

• Free coaching facilities and additional support of ₹2,500 per month.

• A one-time grant of ₹10,000 for students securing at least 45% marks .

Toppers’ Achievements:

Notably, the top three positions were secured by five girls from the same school, highlighting the institution’s academic excellence and the students’ dedication .
