IIT Delhi’s Abu Dhabi campus has commenced admissions for its B.Tech. programs for the 2025-26 academic year. The campus offers three four-year B.Tech. programs:

• Computer Science and Engineering
• Energy Science and Engineering
• Chemical Engineering

Admission Pathways:

1. JEE (Advanced) 2025: One-third of the total seats are allocated through JEE (Advanced) scores. Interested candidates should apply via the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) portal.
2. Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET) 2025: Two-thirds of the seats are filled through CAET, designed for UAE nationals, international students, and Indian expatriates who have completed their last five years of education in the UAE.

• Exam Sessions:
  • Session 1: February 16, 2025
  • Session 2: April 13, 2025
• Application Deadlines:
  • Session 1: February 6, 2025, by 5:00 PM GST
  • Session 2: To be announced
• Exam Format:
  • Duration: 3 hours
  • Mode: Pen and paper-based
  • Language: English
  • Sections: 60 questions equally distributed among Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
• Test Centers:
  • UAE: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah
  • India: New Delhi
  • Additional venues may be added for Session 2 based on applications.

Candidates can choose to appear in one or both sessions, with the higher score considered for admission. A portion of seats will be allocated to top performers in Session 1 as “early admission.” Final seat allocation will be based on a combined merit list and candidates’ program preferences after Session 2.

Eligibility Criteria:

• UAE Nationals: Must be appearing for or have completed Grade 12.
• UAE Residents of Indian Origin: Must have completed the last five years of schooling (Grades 8-12) in the UAE.
• International Students: Foreign nationals, other than UAE and Indian nationals, are also eligible.

Applicants currently in Grade 12 awaiting results may apply but must provide their mark sheets upon selection.
