CBSE Board Exams 2025: Counselling for students, parents from February 1

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is initiating its annual psycho-social counselling services for students and parents starting February 1, 2025. This initiative aims to alleviate exam-related stress for those preparing for the upcoming board examinations.
Key Features of the Counselling Service:
- Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS): Available 24/7 through the toll-free number 1800-11-8004, this service offers guidance on exam preparation, time management, stress reduction, and answers to frequently asked questions. The IVRS is accessible in both Hindi and English.
- Tele-Counselling: A team of 66 trained professionals, including principals, counselors, special educators, and psychologists, will provide personalized tele-counselling sessions. These sessions are available from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Saturday.
Additionally, CBSE has released a ‘Parenting Calendar’ for the 2025-26 academic year, focusing on enhancing parent-teacher interactions and providing support for students, including those with special needs. This initiative addresses behavioral and exam-related concerns, aiming to foster a supportive environment for students during the examination period.
These services are provided free of cost and are designed to support both students and parents in managing the challenges associated with board examinations.
