ICAR Admission 2024: UG registration ends today; courses, seats, participating universities

ICAR admission through CUET 2024: CUET UG exam is conducted for admission to UG programmes in Agriculture and Allied Sciences (other than Veterinary Sciences), at Agricultural Universities on 15/20% of the University seats [100% seats in RLBCAU Jhansi, NDRI Karnal, IARI New Delhi and its Hubs (Karnal-IIWBR, Patna-RCER, Umiam-RCNEH, Kolkata-CRIJAF, Cuttack-NRRI, Ranchi-IIAB, Hyderabad-IIRR, Nagpur – CICR, Bhopal-CIAE, Baramati-NIASM, Lucknow-IISR, Jharkhand-IARI, Assam-IARI, RaipurNIBSM) and Dr. RPCAU Pusa, Bihar].
To follow the New Education Policy (NEP 2020) and reduce the burden on students for appearing in multiple entrance examinations for admissions in AUs, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research asked for the consent of AUs if they wish to utilize the NTA scores for UG admissions. CUET 2024 exam was held from May 15 to May 24, 2024, in a hybrid mode.
To apply for ICAR UG courses through CUET 2024, the candidate should have studied and passed the qualifying examination (12th standard) with at least three subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Agriculture, as core course.
They will not be allowed to choose and appear in subject combination different than the one which s(he) studied and passed in 12th standard. Such cases (candidates attempting different subject combination than that studied & passed in the 12th standard examination) will not be considered forcounselling/admission and will be rejected.
