The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced a revised schedule for the Chartered Accountants (CA) Final and Intermediate May 2025 examinations. The exams, initially slated for May 9 to 14, were postponed due to national security concerns amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. They will now be conducted from May 16 to May 24, 2025.

Revised Examination Schedule:

• CA Final (Group II):

  • Paper 5 (Indirect Tax Laws) – Rescheduled to May 16

  • Paper 6 (Integrated Business Solutions) – Rescheduled to May 18

• CA Intermediate (Group II):

  • Paper 4 (Cost and Management Accounting) – Rescheduled to May 20

  • Paper 5 (Auditing and Ethics) – Rescheduled to May 22

  • Paper 6 (Financial Management and Strategic Management) – Rescheduled to May 24

• Post Qualification Course – International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT–AT):

  • Paper 1 (Transfer Pricing) – Rescheduled to May 16

  • Paper 2 (International Tax – Practice) – Rescheduled to May 18

Key Details:

• Exam Timings: All exams will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM IST, except for select papers which will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM IST.

• Admit Cards: Previously issued admit cards remain valid for the rescheduled dates.

• Exam Centers: There is no change in examination centers; candidates are to report to their originally assigned venues.

• Public Holidays: The revised schedule will not be affected by any public or local holidays declared during the examination period.

Foundation Exams Unaffected:

The CA Foundation May 2025 examinations will proceed as originally scheduled on May 15, 17, 19, and 21.
