This year, 295 choices of 23 IITs, 570 choices of 32 NITs, 26 TripleITs and 40 GFTIs are being given for filling. In this way, a total of 865 choices can be filled this year.

After the results of the country’s most prestigious engineering entrance exam JEE-Advanced, JEE counseling has now started. Applications have started being made for counseling. With the start of counseling, the seat matrix was also released by JEE on Tuesday. Overall, in this seat matrix, counseling will be done on 355 more seats this year as compared to last year.

So many seats have increased

Counselling expert Vikas Kumar told that this year 295 choices of 23 IITs, 570 choices of 32 NITs, 26 TripleITs and 40 GFTIs are being given for filling. In this way, a total of 865 choices can be filled this year. Last year, JEE counseling was done for 17385 seats of 23 IITs, but this year this number has increased to 17740.

There has been an increase of 355 seats in this. These seats have increased by 20 in IIT Bhubaneswar, 12 in IIT Bombay, 30 in Kharagpur, 50 in Jodhpur, 30 in Gandhinagar, 84 in Patna, 10 in Guwahati, 40 in Bhilai, 10 in Tirupati and 75 in Dharwad. Apart from this, 6 seats have decreased in IIT Madras compared to last year, while 50 seats have been increased in IIT Madras for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
