Registration Window Open

The University of Delhi (DU) has started the registration process for Spot Round 1 of undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2025–26. Candidates can now apply through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) portal.

The registration window will remain open from August 25 to August 27, 2025, allowing students three days to submit their choices and secure a seat.

Timeline & Key Dates

• August 25, 2025 (by 5:00 PM): Display of vacant seats for Spot Round 1.

• August 25–27, 2025 (till 4:59 PM): Registration and choice-filling period.

• August 28, 2025 (by 5:00 PM): Release of seat allocation result.

• August 28–29, 2025: Candidates must accept their seats; colleges will verify and approve applications.

• August 30, 2025: Deadline for online fee payment to confirm admission.

Eligibility & Guidelines

• Only candidates already registered under CSAS (UG) 2025 who have not been admitted till August 24 are eligible to apply.

• Once opted for Spot Admission, students can choose from available program + college combinations displayed against vacant seats.

• The seat allotted in the Spot Round is final. There is no option for upgradation or withdrawal after acceptance. Non-acceptance will lead to forfeiture of admission opportunities under CSAS 2025.

The Spot Round offers a fresh opportunity for students who could not secure a seat in earlier rounds. With the transparent and time-bound digital process, students must act quickly, as the seats offered in this round are non-upgradable and binding.
