DPS Ranchi Opens Class IX Admission for Session 2026–2027; Online Registration Starts October 16
Ranchi, October 11, 2025: Delhi Public School (DPS), Ranchi has announced the commencement of online registration for admission to Class IX for the academic session 2026–27. The registration process will begin on October 16, 2025 (Thursday) and continue till November 10, 2025 (Monday, 11:59 PM) through the school’s official website.
The application fee of ₹3000 (non-refundable) is to be paid via the online link provided at the time of registration. Applications submitted offline or without online payment will not be accepted.
It is important to note that online registration does not guarantee admission, as selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the Aptitude Test scheduled for January 11, 2026 (Sunday) from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (reporting time 9:00 AM).
Documents Required for Registration
Applicants must upload the following documents at the time of registration:
Birth certificate issued by a government authority.
Aadhaar cards of the child and both parents.
Half-yearly report card of Class VIII.
Proof of residence (any one: voter ID, Aadhaar, BSNL bill, electricity bill, passport, gas connection, or ration card).
Recent passport-size photograph of the student (white shirt, plain background) and photographs of both parents.
For wards of SAIL/MECON employees — an original certificate issued by the Personnel Department of RDCIS, SAIL, or MECON.
The school has clearly stated that no corrections will be entertained once the form and documents are submitted. The Permanent Education Number (PEN) from the previous school will also be mandatory at the time of final admission.
