A candidate, Aditya Singh, has challenged the results of the Common Law Admission Test 2025 (CLAT-UG) in the Delhi High Court, alleging errors in certain questions. Singh plans to request the Supreme Court to transfer his case, along with similar cases pending in other High Courts, to the apex court for a consolidated hearing.

On December 20, 2024, Justice Jyoti Singh of the Delhi High Court acknowledged errors in two out of five questions highlighted by Singh and directed the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) to revise the results accordingly. Both the NLU Consortium and Singh have appealed this decision to a Division Bench. The Consortium argues that the single judge overstepped by acting as an expert, while Singh seeks corrections for three additional questions he believes contain mistakes.

The Division Bench, led by Acting Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela, has adjourned the hearing to January 30, 2025, allowing Singh time to approach the Supreme Court for the transfer of the case.

In related developments, the CLAT-PG 2025 examination has faced similar controversies over incorrect answer keys, with challenges currently being heard in the Madhya Pradesh and Bombay High Courts.
