May 27, 2025 | New Delhi — The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has officially announced the rechecking results for the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) examinations for the year 2025. Students who applied for rechecking can now access their updated scores on the official CISCE websites: cisce.org and recheckresults.cisce.org.

How to Check Rechecking Results:

1. Visit cisce.org or recheckresults.cisce.org.

2. Click on the “Recheck Results” link.

3. Enter your Unique ID and Index Number as mentioned on your admit card.

4. Submit the details to view your revised scores.

5. Download or print the results for future reference.

Re-evaluation Application Window:

For students who remain unsatisfied with their rechecking results, CISCE has opened a re-evaluation application window from May 28 to May 30, 2025. Unlike rechecking, which only verifies calculation errors, re-evaluation involves a comprehensive reassessment of the answer scripts by subject experts. It’s important to note that any changes in marks—whether an increase or decrease—after re-evaluation will be considered final.

Re-evaluation Fee:

Students opting for re-evaluation are required to pay a fee of ₹100 per subject.

Improvement Examination Registration:

Additionally, CISCE has announced that schools can register students for the Improvement Examination 2025 from May 30 to June 5. Candidates will be allowed to appear in a maximum of two subjects. For ICSE students, those opting for a subject with multiple papers can choose to appear in all or just one paper. In the case of ISC candidates, those retaking English must appear for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The higher of the two scores, from the main exam and the improvement exam, will be treated as the candidate’s final mark for that subject.
