CBSE asks parents to remain vigilant against fake claims about board exam paper leaks

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a warning to parents and students regarding false claims about Class 10 and 12 board exam paper leaks circulating on social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter). These claims are baseless and intended to create unnecessary panic among students and parents.
CBSE is actively monitoring these platforms and collaborating with law enforcement agencies to identify and prosecute individuals responsible for spreading such misinformation. Students found participating in these activities will face consequences under CBSE’s unfair means rules and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Parents are advised to counsel their children to disregard unverified information and rely solely on official communications from CBSE, accessible through the board’s website and verified public channels. Engaging with or believing in such rumors can disrupt the examination process and cause undue stress.
The board emphasizes that it has implemented comprehensive measures to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the examinations, which commenced on February 15 and will conclude on April 4. Maintaining the integrity of the examination process is a top priority for CBSE.
In summary, CBSE urges all stakeholders to remain vigilant, avoid spreading or believing in unverified information, and trust only official sources for updates related to board examinations.
