‘Carry Aadhaar card’: NTA issues NIFT 2025 advisory on biometric verification, ‘exception form’
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important advisory for candidates appearing in the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) 2025, scheduled for February 9, 2025. Candidates are required to carry their original Aadhaar card to the examination center for biometric verification.
Key Points:
- Mandatory Document: Original Aadhaar card for identity verification.
- Exception Form: If a candidate is unable to present the Aadhaar card due to valid reasons, they must fill out an ‘exception form’ provided at the examination center. This form will require alternative identification details to facilitate the verification process.
- Additional Requirements: Candidates should also bring:
- A printed copy of the NIFTEE 2025 admit card.
- One passport-sized photograph (same as uploaded during the application) for pasting on the attendance sheet.
- Any other valid photo ID (if available), such as a school ID, PAN card, driving license, voter ID, or passport.
Exam Day Guidelines:
- Arrival Time: Reach the examination center well before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card to complete verification procedures smoothly.
- Prohibited Items: Avoid carrying electronic devices, study materials, or any items prohibited as per the examination guidelines.
- Dress Code: Follow any dress code instructions provided by NTA to ensure a hassle-free entry into the examination hall.
